Biography
As a Registered and Licensed Dietitian on the NephronLife team, Melissa provides renal-focused nutrition counseling for patients across every stage of kidney disease — from early CKD through dialysis and post-transplant care.
Education
Melissa completed her bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and her supervised dietetic internship before becoming a Registered Dietitian (RD) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and a Licensed Dietitian (LD) in Texas.
Training
Her clinical experience includes acute care, outpatient nutrition, and specialty renal counseling. Melissa partners closely with our nephrologists to translate lab values, medications, and lifestyle goals into an approachable, personalized eating plan for every patient.
